Margot Robbie and director Jay Roach are currently developing a new Ocean’s Eleven movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. have tapped up Robbie to star in and produce the film that will be helmed by Roach, who directed Robbie in 2019 drama Bombshell.

The script, which is being penned by Carrie Solomon, is being kept under wraps, but what is known is that it will be an original Ocean’s Eleven set in Europe in the 1960s.

Robbie is producing with Tom Ackerley, her partner at LuckyChap. Roach is also producing, along with Michelle Graham of his Delirious Media. Executive producers include Gary Ross, Olivia Milch and LuckyChap’s Josey McNamara.

The project is still in development and has not yet been greenlit by Warner Bros., but the aim is to start shooting it next year.

The Ocean’s franchise launched in 2001 with Steven Soderbergh’s Ocean’s Eleven, starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon and others. After taking over $450million at the worldwide box office, Soderbergh and company released two more films, in 2004 and 2007, respectively.

The last Ocean’s film was 2018’s Ocean’s 8, a female-centric spin-off led by Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter and Rihanna.

Robbie’s next film will see her take on the role of Barbie in Greta Gerwig’s new live-action film based on the famous Mattel doll.

The Harley Quinn actor will star alongside Ryan Gosling as Ken, and a wider ensemble cast including Will Ferrell, Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon, Sex Education stars Emma Mackey and Ncuti Gatwa, America Ferrera and more.

Barbie will be released in cinemas on July 21, 2023. It was also revealed at CinemaCon that Christopher Nolan’s film Oppenheimer will be released in cinemas on the same day.

Watch Eminem join Pete Davidson for final ‘SNL’ sketch

The comedian’s third and final Slim Shady parody sees him pay tribute to ‘SNL’ creator Lorne Michaels

In one of Pete Davidson‘s final sketches for Saturday Night Live, the comedian called upon Eminem to help pay tribute to the show’s creator Lorne Michaels.

It was announced earlier this week that a number of cast members would be bidding farewell to the late night sketch show at the end of its 47th season which came to a close last night (May 21).

The cast members leaving the show include Davidson, Kate McKinnon, Addy Bryant and Kyle Mooney, all of whom bid farewell to Studio 8H in their own way during last night’s season finale.

Davidson’s farewell reflected on his first-ever appearance on the show in a segment alongside Colin Jost on the ‘Weekend Update’ desk. He then thanked SNL “for always having my back, for allowing me to work on myself and grow” and “for never giving up on me or judging me even when everyone else was”.

The ‘Weekend Update’ wasn’t the only sendoff for Davidson: in a Cut for Time sketch, the comedian delivered a third and final Eminem parody dedicated to his mentor and SNL creator Lorne Michaels, much to the irritation of the Detroit rapper himself.

Flipping Dr. Dre and Eminem’s 2000 hit ‘Forgot About Dre’ into ‘Forgot About Lorne’, Davidson – using deepfake technology – paid tribute to Michaels’ legacy while namechecking a number of past cast members that went to become household names because of Michaels.

However, Davidson’s tribute gets cut short when Eminem stops by the studio and shuts the production down, lambasting the comedian for his Slim Shady-themed parodies over his SNL tenure. “Please, stop. It’s really bad,” Em tells Davidson.

Davidson responds by telling the rapper: “Honestly, we just do these because we love you so much, Marshall. They’re like a tribute, ya know?” You can check out the sketch above.

The other two times that Davidson spoofed Eminem on SNL included him recreating the rapper’s infamous ‘Stan’ video, and before that he donned a Batman & Robin-style costume for a parody of ‘Without Me’, which also acted as somewhat of an explainer for the recent NFTs trend.

A dead body has been found in a Milton Keynes car park being used for My Chemical Romance‘s nearby MK Stadium concerts.

According to MK Citizen, the body was discovered last night (May 21) at the Milton Keynes Bowl, which was being used as a ‘park and stride’ for three MCR concerts taking place across the weekend.

Police arrived at the scene around 8.30pm and witnesses said intensive searches were being carried out. Some concert-goers who had parked at the Bowl reported that they were prevented from moving their cars after the concert finished at 10.30pm.

Thames Valley police confirmed in a statement that the body found is a man’s, adding that the death is being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious.

A spokesperson told MK Citizen: “Thames Valley Police is investigating an unexplained, non-suspicious death in Milton Keynes. As such, it is not being treated as a crime.”

They added: “There is a scene watch in place while enquiries are being carried out. A file will be prepared for the coroner, but I can confirm it is the body of a man.”

Police are yet to reveal how the body was found or whether the deceased’s next of kin have been informed.

My Chemical Romance kicked off their European tour on Monday night (May 16) at the Eden Project in Cornwall, marking their first UK show in 11 years.

After performing two shows at MK Stadium on Thursday (May 19) and Saturday (May 21), they will play their third and final gig at the venue this evening (May 22).

At last night’s show, Gerard Way paid tribute to MCR fans who have passed away over the last two years.

The frontman held aloft a flag with the names of deceased MCR followers at Stadium MK after a fan passed it on to him.

“So this is kind of crazy, this is our third show, we’ve played two shows and I think it was the first night where were fucking around having a good time and I was talking about how its been two and a half years and how does it feel and things like that” Way told the crowd.

“And it occurred to me later after the second show, that there was a bunch of people that were probably gonna be at these shows that aren’t here with us anymore. And I think it was yesterday, a friend of mine told me that there were some people on the internet that had gotten a list as best they could of names of people that were gonna come to the shows.”

The MCR frontman then lifted the flag up for the crowd to see the names of those that have passed away.
