G-Eazy has announced the release of his new album, ‘These Things Happen Too’ – listen to new track ‘The Announcement’ below.

The long-awaited sequel to the Bay Area rapper’s breakout 2014 album ‘These Things Happen’ is finally set to be released on September 24 via BPG/RVG/RCA Records.

Taking to social media earlier this evening (September 8) to share a trailer for the album, G-Eazy (real name Gerald Gillum) captioned the post: “I know it’s been a long, long time…”

‘These Things Happen Too’ will “showcase G’s multi-faceted artistry with a diverse, yet eclectic body of work,” a press release said of the album. “‘These Things Happen Too’ highlights G’s growth since his debut LP, while also paying homage to its now classic and fan-favourite tracks.”

News of the album arrived with a new track, ‘The Announcement’, a hard-hitting anthem that details G-Eazy’s evolved rockstar status. “This ain’t’ 2012 Gerry, this a different G,” he raps. “You gotta talk to my agent now, that’s different fee/ You gotta jump through ten hoops before you talk to me/ Penthousе at the Soho Grand, see the city differеntly.”

Listen to ‘The Announcement’ below:

The album will also include the much-buzzed-about unreleased song titled ‘Breakdown’ featuring Demi Lovato, which was teased last month in a trailer for the new Netflix series Titletown High.

Last month, G-Eazy shared the track ‘Running Wild (Tumblr Girls 2)’ featuring Kossisko.

Produced by DAKARI, the track is a sequel to fan favourite, ‘Tumblr Girls’, which appears on the original ‘These Things Happen’. It’s not been confirmed whether the track will appear on ‘These Things Happen Too’ but judging from a recent post on the rapper’s Instagram about ‘Running Wild’ it looks likely it will land on his fourth studio album.

Other recent tracks from G include ‘A Little More’, ‘Down’, ‘Love Is Gone’, as well as ‘Nostalgia Cycle’ and ‘Stan By Me’, the latter two of which appear on his last album, ‘Everything’s Strange Here’.

James Bond producer says gay hint was almost cut from ‘Skyfall’

The studio and producers butted heads over a key scene

A scene in James Bond film Skyfall that indicated the secret agent once had a gay experience was almost cut, it has been revealed.

Barbara Brocolli, the longstanding Bond producer who worked on the film, recently spoke out about the scene, which involves Daniel Craig’s Bond and Javier Bardem’s villain Raoul Silva.

“You’re trying to remember your training now. What’s the regulation to cover this? Well, first time for everything I guess,” Silva says while caressing Bond, who is bound to a chair.

“What makes you think this is my first time?” Bond replies.

“I remember we were told to cut that line by the studio,” Brocolli said in Apple TV+ documentary Being James Bond. “We said, ‘No, no, no.’ We resisted.”

Brocolli said the decision to keep the line in was rewarded at the film’s premiere in London. “That line, just the whole place rocked it then… I remember looking at the studio executive [and] going, ‘See, told you,’” she said.

Two final trailers for the much-delayed upcoming Bond film No Time To Die were released on September 1.

A synopsis for the film, which is directed by True Detective‘s Cary Joji Fukunaga, reads:

“Five years after the capture of Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Christoph Waltz), James Bond has left active service. He is approached by his friend and CIA officer Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright), who enlists his help in the search for Valdo Obruchev (David Dencik), a missing scientist. When it becomes apparent that Obruchev has been abducted, Bond must confront a villain whose schemes could see the death of millions.”

The international trailer states that the film will reach audiences on September 30. The US trailer states October 8 for American audiences.

Yes, we, The Darkness, are the fuck back on tour, praise Satan’s better half…come and party with us like it’s the last orders at the last chance saloon.

“Which it may well be, but I wouldn’t like to comment any further on that. Get in kids, it’s the Darkness, wot you knows and luvs, plus British Lion – Steve Harris’ top rock band who are guaranteed to blow your socks straight up your welcoming arses. What a night! Delirium! Outfits, including hats! Denim that smells of hamsters! Who doesn’t want that? See you down the front, connoisseurs of the finest that life has to offer…”
