K-pop boyband ATEEZ have announced their new mini-album, ‘Golden Hour: Part. 1’, due out next month.

ATEEZ announced ‘Golden Hour: Part. 1’ today (April 22) through their social media pages with the release of a detailed schedule that outlines when fans can expect promotional material in the lead-up to the album drop.

From April 22 to May 17, the K-pop boyband will release four sets of concept photos, as well as the record’s tracklist. Meanwhile, a preview of the record will be released on May 24, with further teasers coming in the week that follows.

ATEEZ will release ‘Golden Hour: Part. 1’ in full on May 31 at 1pm KST. Keep tabs on this page for the latest updates on the boyband’s upcoming mini-album.

 

‘Golden Hour: Part. 1’ will mark the boyband’s first music release of 2024. It will follow their second studio album ‘The World EP.Fin: Will’ in December 2023, which was led by the title track ‘Crazy Form’.

ATEEZ’s announcement of new music also comes hot on the heels of their performance at Coachella’s second weekend on April 19. Their appearance at the iconic music festival made them the first K-pop boyband to grace Coachella’s stage.

In other K-pop news, aespa also announced today the upcoming release of ‘Armageddon’, their first full-length album since they debuted in 2020. Meanwhile, girl group Cherry Bullet have officially disbanded, their agency FNC Entertainment has confirmed.

Elsewhere, HYBE and ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin, the woman behind popular girl group NewJeans, are reportedly in a power struggle over the K-pop agency. Following the news, the stock price of HYBE has dipped by over 7 per cent.
