Billions is making one last return to the small screen with a seventh season set to conclude the story that all started with Bobby Axelrod – you can read all the details below.

Having departed the show in season five, Damian Lewis is getting set to make a return as Axelrod in this seventh and final outing of Billions. Having sent him off to a non-extradition country, the show’s creators have welcomed the charming Wall Street mogul back to the show for one last roll of the dice in the bear pit of hedge funds, the federal government, and big egos.

Speaking about his return to the show, Lewis told Stephen Colbert in February: “Bobby’s back. He is coming back.

“Axe is back and it is exciting. He has not been around for a couple of seasons but he is back.”

Lewis rejoins a heavy-weight cast that includes the likes of Hollywood mainstay Paul Giamatti and Marvel star Corey Stoll. The likes of Sons Of Anarchy star Maggie Siff, and Suits alumnus David Costabile also feature heavily in the show.

Behind Your Touch is the latest K-Drama that Netflix has had a hand in creating, and the highly anticipated show premiers today (August 12).

Starring Han Ji-min and Lee Min-ki, Behind Your Touch is an upcoming comedy K-drama that follows nosy small-town veterinarian Bong Ye-boon (played by Han), who suddenly gains psychometric abilities to see into the past of other living creatures.

Meanwhile, Lee plays Moon Jang-yeol, an ambitious detective who comes to realise he needs Ye-boon’s abilities to solve certain crimes. K-Pop EXO member Suho also stars in the series as Kim Sun-woo, a young man who moves to their town and begins working part-time jobs.

Will there be Behind Your Touch season 2?

As of this moment there has been no word from Netflix on a second season of Behind Your Touch.

However, with many shows on Netflix it would be safe to say that if the show proves to be a success in terms of streaming numbers it will have a good shot at a second season.

And Behind Your Touch has all the hall-marks of a series that could capture the imagination. The series will explore the budding romance between the veterinarian and detective as the pair team up to solve crime cases in their small town of Mujin.

Is there a trailer fro Behind Your touch?

There is – you can check it out below.

An official synopsis for the show reads: “Prepare to embark on an extraordinary journey that transcends the boundaries of traditional romantic comedies. Introducing Behind Your Touch – a captivating rom-com, or as we fondly dub it, a ‘Com-Rom,’ that guarantees to ignite your heart and tickle your funny bone all at once.

“Taking centre stage is the charismatic Rom-Com Queen herself, Han Ji Min, portraying the endearing Bong Ye Bun, a small-town veterinarian gifted with an extraordinary ability to see the past of animals and people by touching their bottoms.”

Behind Your Touch premieres August 12 at 10:30pm KST on JTBC, and will also be available to stream on Netflix.

Is Bobby Axelrod coming back for ‘Billions’ season seven?

Bobby was last seen doing a runner to a non-extradition country

Billions has missed its leading man since Bobby Axelrod jetted off on his uber-expensive jet to a non-extradition country, but will he make a comeback in season seven?

Damian Lewis (HomelandBand Of Brothers, and Wolf Hall) was noticeably absent from the sixth season of the show he’d helmed since 2016. However, his departure in season six the Sky Atlantic/Paramount+ show let Paul Giamatti’s Chuck Rhoades Jr. and Corey Stoll’s Mike Prince take the limelight.

That said, there seemed to be a hole left by Lewis that was seemingly impossible to fill. Especially given as a return was never ruled out completely by the show’s creators.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly ahead of the season six premier in 2021, Executive Producer Brian Koppleman teasingly said:”The goodbyes on Billions and the hellos on Billions are never permanent; nothing is etched in stone.”

Lewis put Billions on the map with his performance as the roguish and ruthless Axelrod. But, following the death of his wife Helen McCrory in April 2021, Lewis announced his departure from the show.

At the time, he tweeted that it was “a pleasure and a privilege to play Axe for 5 seasons”. See his full goodbye to the show in the tweet below.

That said, it seemed as if his return was never completely ruled out. However, following comments from the production team ahead of season six’s premier Lewis came out and announced he would make a return to show while on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert earlier this year.

“Axe is back and it is exciting,” he told Colbert. “He has not been around for a couple of seasons but he is back.”

According to USA Today Lewis makes his return as Axelrod despite the overwhelming legal problems he faced in season five.

Indeed, what he’s been up to while he’s been on the run will be explored in later episodes – with his role increasing through to the US finale of the show on October 27.

How long is ‘Heart Of Stone’ on Netflix?

Gal Gadot is back front and centre with a new action-packed film

Netflix‘s action-packed Heart Of Stone arrives on Netflix today (Friday, August 11) – you can find details regarding its runtime below.

In the film Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot takes on the role of a global guardian once more (minus superpowers), playing Rachel Stone an intelligence operative. Put in an unenviable position, Stone finds herself as the only one standing between her powerful global peacekeeping organisation and the loss of its most valuable and dangerous asset.

In its review, NME.com said Heart Of Stone is “plenty of fun and far slicker than a lot of recent Netflix content”. Indeed, the three-star rated film earned a call for a follow-up thanks to its entertainment factor.

Picking up the bumps, scrapes and punchlines beside Gadot in this high-paced action flick are 50 Shades Of Grey star Jamie Dornan and Crazy Rich Asians‘ Jing Lusi. Tom Harper, who helmed Aeronauts and the 2016 mini-series of War & Peace featuring Lily James, took charge behind the camera.

The film has an official run-time of two hours and two minutes, meaning that the action is a punchier and quicker film than both Gadot’s solo outings as Wonder Woman. The original DC film clocked up a run-time two hours and 21 minutes, while 2020’s follow-up Wonder Woman: 1984 was even longer at two hours and 31 minutes.

Speaking ahead of the film’s release Dornan told Collider he was particularly proud of what the cast and crew undertook when signing on to make Heart Of Stone, saying: “I just think the scale of it and the ambition of it, and hopefully, we’ve pulled that off. You know, we’re taking people on a proper ride here, and particularly, you know, right from the off, those first 15 minutes are like, you better be ready for it.”

Meanwhile, Gadot said: “I’m excited for people to sit at the edge of their seats. I’m excited for them to reveal the twists and turns. I think there’s a really good, healthy amount of humour and action and drama, and just for people to enjoy it and have fun with us with the movie.”

Megan Fox responds to “weirdo” critics after sharing friend’s GoFundMe appeal

“try again on another day with some different bullshit, you bunch of psychos”

The post Megan Fox responds to “weirdo” critics after sharing friend’s GoFundMe appeal appeared first on NME.

Megan Fox has responded to a section of her social media followers who criticised her for sharing a friend’s GoFundMe appeal – calling them “weirdos”.

The Transformers actor reportedly shared a link to her friend Brittney Boyce’s fundraiser – in aid of her father’s cancer treatment. The post which indy100 reports was shared via Instagram stories on Monday (July 24) received some backlash.

She then subsequently addressed some negative comments that came her way in a Stories post on Friday (July 28). Fox labelled some social media users “psychos” for their responses to the post, the publication reports.

“Hey weirdos,” the Jennifer’s Body star wrote. “Do any of you have the emotional intelligence to consider that maybe [Brittany Boyce] doesn’t want her celebrity clients donating large sums of money to her because it creates a dynamic in her working relationships that makes her uncomfortable?”

She continued: “I just obliged her request. Anything she needs from me personally she will ask and [I] will do it privately. One thing you’re not going to accuse me of is being miserly or lacking generosity.

“So try again on another day (probably [tomorrow]!) with some different bullshit, you bunch of psychos [sic].”

Boyce set up the fundraising appeal on GoFundMe last week. On the page she states the goal of her appeal is to help her father who is not “covered by insurance” with medical expenses so “he can focus on himself and not the stress on finances”.

At this time the appeal page registers a total of $11,455 raised for a goal set at $60,000.

‘Secret Invasion’ director doesn’t “feel bad” about disappointing “rabid” Marvel fans: “is it our job to fulfil their expectations?”

The director behind Secret Invasion has said he doesn’t “feel bad” about garnering some disappointing reviews from some “rabid” Marvel fans.

Having just watched the final instalment of the long-awaited MCU series air on Disney+ this week (Wednesday, July 26), the sixth episode of the limited series clocked up a critical rating below 10% on Rotten Tomatoes.

However, director Ali Selim has responded and said that he doesn’t pay attention to reviews (even from the Hollywood press) when asked about a certain amount of backlash to aspects of the MCU series.

“I don’t know – is it our job to fulfill their expectations? Or to tell the story that we’re telling?” he responded when asked by Variety about critical responses to the series.

Addressing the fact that much of the six-part series has garnered mixed responses from viewers and critics alike, Selim said: Oh, I don’t read reviews. With all due respect. For me, I view all the storytelling work I do as a dialogue with an audience.

“When the show is finished and put up on the screen, that’s my half of the dialogue. And the audience then starts their half of the response to it.”

Addressing the blockbuster nature of a Marvel property, as well as the franchise’s loyal fanbase, Selim continued:

“I don’t feel bad about mixed reviews. If you had unanimously good reviews, every movie would gross $10 billion, trillion dollars, right? [Projects] resonate with different people at different times for different reasons, and Marvel has a very devoted – even rabid – fan base who have expectations and when their expectations aren’t fulfilled, they move in the other direction; they give it a thumbs down.

“I don’t know – is it our job to fulfil their expectations? Or to tell the story that we’re telling? So, it’s a tricky thing. I would love it if everybody loved it, but I also don’t have that expectation myself, so I feel great about the response to it.”

In its four-star review of the series NME praised the different direction Selim has taken. The review praised the more mature style of story-telling and direction of Secret Invasion, saying it felt like “a teenage franchise stepping out into the real world for the first time”.

Twitter sparks official investigation as new ‘X’ logo on roof of headquarters appears

Elon Musk’s rebrand of Twitter has faced another stumbling block

Elon Musk‘s rebrand of Twitter to ‘X’ faced another stumbling block this week as the tech giant was halted while erecting the firm’s new logo on the roof of its headquarters.

According to reports, the firm was asked to pause the building of a new ‘X’ logo on the roof of its San Francisco HQ on Friday (28 July). City officials are said to have put a stop to the logo being built and launched an investigation into the firm’s actions, reports Deadline.

Representatives of the city are believed to have said that the giant ‘X’ sign didn’t have the proper design and safety permits to be erected on the roof.

The Washington Times led the coverage of the snafu, quoting a spokesperson for the Department of Building Inspection, Patrick Hannan, as saying any replacement letters or symbols would require a permit to ensure “consistency with the historic nature of the building” as well as complying with safety measures.

Speaking to the publication on Friday, Hannan added that erecting a sign on top of a building also requires a permit. It’s believed that X had not acquired the correct permits to comply with city bylaws regarding the new logo and its placement on the building.

The rooftop logo isn’t the first hurdle that Musk has faced following his surprise rebranding of Twitter last week. Earlier this week, city officials stepped in to halt the removal of the old Twitter logo, a giant bluebird, from the building. The city claimed this was due to the fact workers hadn’t taped off the sidewalk to keep pedestrians safe if anything fell while the work took place.
