Billie Eilish has dropped her surprise extended edit of ‘L’Amour De Ma Vie’ – listen to it below.

It comes as the singer released her highly-anticipated third album ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft‘ last Friday (May 17).

Now, Eilish has announced an ‘Over Now’ extended edit of its seventh track, ‘L’Amour De Ma Vie’. It expands the second half of the original track, turning it into a shuffling club banger, and adds some new lyrics onto the song: “It’s not that complicated / I wasn’t satiated / You’re looking older lately / Dating another baby“.

She took to Instagram to share the news, writing: “MADE AN EXTENDED EDIT FOR YOU TO DANCE IN THE CLURBBBBBBB TO!!!”

NME reviewed ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’ upon release last Friday, giving it four stars: “Billie came into this process with aspirations to find herself, creatively and personally: ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ remains distinctly unique, a portrait of a singular talent entering young adulthood, exploring her queerness and experiencing the emotional thrill and (sometimes) catastrophe of chasing passion or falling in love.

“In trying to write an album for herself, she’s made one that will resonate harder than anything she’s done before.”

Eilish and brother Finneas have since said they have “never ever ever loved something more” than their new album, adding: ““There were so many times during the making of it that I thought we’d never finish it or had no idea what we were doing I lost count – just goes to show – when you’re in it, you might just have to try to keep swimming – you can only really see the ocean once you’re on the shore.”

Since then, the LA native also dropped an album of isolated vocals from the record, with fans invited to remix the vocals on free Digital Audio Workstation, BandLab.

In other news, Billie Eilish has been spotted partying to Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss ‘Not Like Us’.
