Dua Lipa J Balvin Bad Bunny new song One Day Un Dia

J Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny and Tainy have released their collaboration ‘Un Día (One Day)’, and its music video.

Balvin, Lipa and Tainy announced the release on social media on Wednesday (July 22), confirming its release on Thursday. Now the song and its video, directed by Colombian creative Stillz, is out now.

The clip focuses on a young woman going through life alone, seemingly processing the breakup that Lipa sings about on the track. She sings: “One day you’ll realise I’m more than your lover / I’m more than your lover, I’m your friend.” Watch it here:

The track is Lipa’s first new material since the release of her second album, ‘Future Nostalgia’, in March, with Lipa releasing a video for the album track ‘Hallucinate’ earlier this month.

For J Balvin, ‘Un Día (One Day)’ comes after his album ‘Colores’, which was released in March. On the other hand, Bad Bunny has dropped two surprise albums this year, beginning with ‘YHLQMDLG’ in February, which came out only two days after the artist announced its upcoming release.

Two months later, ‘Las Que No Iban a Salir’ followed unannounced, a ten-track album that featured collaborations with Nicky Jam, Don Omar, Zion & Lennox and more.

Earlier this week Dua Lipa came under fire after tweeting about the rights of indigenous Kosovar Albanians, sparking a heated debate online.

Some challenged Lipa’s statement by linking it to a far-right ‘Greater Albania’ ideology or challenging the accuracy of her statement.

Lipa has since clarified the intent of her controversial tweet with another post in which she said her statement “was never meant to incite any hate”.
