K-pop agency BPM (Big Planet Made) Entertainment has unveiled members of its new girl group BADVILLAIN.

On May 16, at midnight KST, the label released a series of individual trailer films introducing four members of its seven members. They include Chloe Young, HU’E (previously known as Kim In-hye), INA and Kelly. HU’E was a competitor on idol survival programme My Teenage Girl which formed the girl group CLASS:y.

While BPM has only officially introduced these four members, the label previously dropped performance videos for two of BADVILLAIN’s upcoming songs ‘Hurricane’ and ‘+82’ featuring all seven members of the act.

Member Emma Song was quickly identified from these clips due to her past public appearances as part of dance crew WANT on the competition series Street Woman Fighter, along with Kim Yun-seo, who also participated on My Teenage Girl.

At the time of publishing, BPM Entertainment have yet to announce dates and details for BADVILLAIN’s debut release.

The upcoming septet will be the second girl group under the K-pop agency, after it launched the trio VIVIZ – formed by three former GFRIEND members – in 2022. The company is also home to acts like Taemin of SHINee, singer-songwriter Lee Mu-jin and ex-NU’EST’s Ren.

In other K-pop news, girl group IVE have unveiled the music video for ‘Accendio’, the second single off their new mini-album ‘IVE Switch’. The record dropped late last month alongside a visual for its first single ‘HEYA’.

Elsewhere, Winter of girl group aespa will sit out the act’s upcoming live broadcast on music show M Countdown after a minor fire broke out on set while they were recording a performance. While the situation was quickly controlled and no injuries were reported, her label announced that she would not be present for the rest of the day’s activities due to her “poor condition”.
