wonho european tour 2022 facade tease announcement

South Korean singer Wonho is seemingly set to tour Europe later this year.

Today (June 30), event production companies Jin Entertainment and Onion Production took to their respective Twitter accounts to tease Wonho’s forthcoming 2022 ‘Facade’ tour of Europe this year. The singer later retweeted the posts on his own account.

“We know you missed Wonho, and Wonho missed you too,” wrote Jin Entertainment in their post. However, further information about the tour, including dates, venues, ticketing and pricing, have yet to be unveiled by the organisations involved.

The upcoming ‘Facade’ tour will mark Wonho’s first solo tour of the continent, as well as his first tour as the headlining concerts outside of South Korea. The singer had previously held two virtual concerts – ‘IWONHOYOU’ in 2020 and ‘#WENEEDLOVE’ in 2021. In a four-star review of the latter, NME’s Rhian Daly said that the show was a “moving reminder of the symbiotic relationship between fan and artist”.

His tour of Europe will also be in support of Wonho’s recently released mini-album of the same name that dropped earlier this month, featuring the title track ‘Crazy’. The five-song record featured intro and outro tracks, the song ‘Close’, as well as the Korean-language version of Wonho’s 2021 Japanese digital single ‘White Miracle’.

The new record arrived about four months after Wonho’s February single album ‘Obsession’. Led by the title track ‘Eye On You’, the project had marked his first comeback since last September’s mini-album ‘Blue Letter’, which featured the single ‘Blue’.
