Jodie Comer has hinted Killing Eve’s final season might not be the last we see of the show’s universe.

The actress, who plays stylish assassin Villanelle, will return for the show’s fourth season when it airs next year – although it seems show bosses might be planning a continuation of sorts.

Asked by Phillip Schofield on This Morning (September 15) if the idea of a Killing Eve movie has been floated around, Comer said: “I don’t think so. I think they’re kind of keeping their options open, like who knows what the future holds.

“But for sure the thing I will miss the most is not having to apologise – all the mischief I get away with, there’s something so fun about that.”

Speaking about the show’s ending, Comer added: “We just want to make sure we end it on a good note that’s satisfying for the audience but is also truthful to the characters.”

While a movie is unclear, there have been rumours of spin-offs being in development at BBC America, although there’s been no specifics.

Comer previously described filming the show’s final season as a “bittersweet” experience. “I definitely had a moment when I looked at the clapperboard the other day before doing a take and I was like, ‘Oh God’,” Comer said.

“I was thinking about the moment when that’s going to be the last take, I felt a bit emotional.”

Sex Education’s Laura Neal is the lead writer and executive producer on the fourth season, along with Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Sandra Oh, Sally Woodward Gentle, Lee Morris, Gina Minagacci and Damon Thomas.

Killing Eve season four is scheduled to be released in 2022.

But the drummer also cautioned that it was “way too early to talk about a record”

Lars Ulrich has given an update on the possibility of a new Metallica album, saying the band are currently “creating at some level”.

Speaking to SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk last week (September 9), the 57-year-old drummer was asked if a follow-up to 2016’s ‘Hardwired… To Self-Destruct’ was on the way.

“We’re on that path. I don’t know if it’s cohesive enough to call a record, but we’re dipping our toes,” Ulrich explained (via Blabbermouth). “We’ve been trying to stay busy. We did the drive-in thing last summer. We did an All Within My Hands event in November. We did [The Late Show With Stephen] Colbert. We’re doing [Jimmy] Kimmel [Live!] tomorrow.”

He continued: “We’re engaged. And we are creating at some level. It’s way too early to talk about a record or a timeline or anything. But we’re staying busy. And it’s exciting to just think of the possibilities.

“Right now we’re so rejuvenated and just ready to get back in.”

Back in July, guitarist Kirk Hammett had talked up the new Metallica album’s arrival, saying he hopes it will “cut through the division” in the world.

The band have been working on new music during the coronavirus pandemic, with James Hetfield confirming that the band wrote 10 songs together over Zoom in quarantine.

Yesterday it was confirmed that Metallica will headline the first-ever German edition of Download Festival when it takes place in 2022.

The inaugural Download Festival Germany will take place at the motor racing circuit Hockenheimring in the Rhine valley on June 24 next year. Also confirmed for the line-up so far are Nevada band Five Finger Death Punch and Swedish power metal outfit Sabaton.

METALLICA will play a special intimate concert tonight (Thursday, September 16) at the 500-capacity The Independent in downtown San Francisco. The heavy metal giants, who are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their mega-selling self-titled album, shared the news of the last-minute gig via social media earlier today. They wrote: "Hey! Gonna let you in on a little secret .. We're playing tonight at The Independent in downtown SF. Grab a $20 bill and get your ass to the box office right now! Proof of vaxx is required to get a wristband and it's gonna sell out fast. One ticket per person, cash only!" METALLICA will return to the festival stage on Friday, September 23 and Sunday, September 26, when they are scheduled to play a pair of unique sets in Louisville, Kentucky at Louder Than Life, the first of three U.S. festivals the band will perform at this fall in partnership with promoter Danny Wimmer Presents. A remastered edition of the self-titled LP, commonly known as the "Black Album", is now available on CD, vinyl or as a deluxe box set. The remaster is accompanied by "The Metallica Blacklist", a collection of 53 artists covering the Black Album's dozen tracks, with all profits from the release split evenly between METALLICA's All Within My Hands Foundation and more than 50 other charities chosen by the artists taking part in the project. Last Friday, METALLICA appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" to promote the 30th-anniversary box set edition of "The Black Album." The band performed two songs, sat down for an interview and took part in a "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets"-style segment where the four members of the group read one-star Amazon reviews of the classic 1991 album. A day earlier, METALLICA and pop star Miley Cyrus performed "Nothing Else Matters" live on "The Howard Stern Show".

Sir Clive Sinclair, legendary inventor and home computing pioneer, has died today, aged 81, following a long illness.

His daughter, Belinda, told The Guardian that he died at his home on Thursday morning.

“He was a rather amazing person,” said Belinda Sinclair, 57. “Of course, he was so clever and he was always interested in everything. My daughter and her husband are engineers so he’d be chatting engineering with them.”

Although Sir Clive Sinclair invented the pocket calculator, he was undoubtedly best known for the ZX Spectrum – a popular home computer system that launched in the UK in 1982. The Spectrum is often credited with popularising the home computer alongside its rival, the Commodore 64.

Bringing affording computer systems to the UK high street, the ZX Spectrum sold 5 million units worldwide and paved the way for the future of home computing.

After leaving school at 17, Sir Clive Sinclair worked as a technical journalist to raise funds to start his first business – Sinclair Radionics. By the early 1970s, Sinclair had invented a host of pocket calculators, small enough to be held at a time when most calculators were the size of an old shop till.

“He wanted to make things small and cheap so people could access them,” his daughter explained.

By the 1980s, “Sinclair” became a household name. After creating several early ZX computers, Sinclair eventually created the ZX Spectrum, which went on sale in 1982. The sleek design and affordability made it an instant hit.

Soon, the ZX Spectrum began sporting a whole line of colour games – classics such as Jet Set Willy, Chuckie Egg, and Manic Miner were soon followed by more complex titles. Chase HQ, Bubble Bobble and various Dizzy games soon debuted on the ZX Spectrum.

The ZX Spectrum had cemented its place in gaming history, and its creator, Sir Clive Sinclair, along with it.

Sir Clive Sinclair is survived by his daughter, Belinda, and his sons, Crispin and Bartholomew (Aged 55 and 52) and his five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

‘Valheim’ Hearth and Home update is out now

Eat, build, and be merry

Iron Gate Studios have released the long-awaited Hearth and Home update for Valheim that updates building and eating.

Valheim was released last year to great success, and players have been eagerly awaiting the games first major update. This update arrived today with the release of Hearth And Home. The update changes a lot of the mechanics behind food, combat, and building. Iron Gate has released a post detailing the changes but notes that it could be considered spoilers for those wanting to go in fresh.

“The update’s name is Hearth & Home, which means that the cooking and the building got a bit of extra attention. For all the builders out there, we have added a whole bunch of new build pieces and furniture, ranging everywhere from sturdy shingle roofs to a mighty stone throne.”

Other additions include some originating in fan feedback. These include the ability to share map data with other Vikings, find seeds to plant more trees around the world, and a new item called the obliterator to get rid of unwanted items.

The full Valheim patch notes include the changes that have been made to weapons. All weapons have been rebalanced to be more viable as a main weapon choice. Weapons will also encourage more unique playstyles. The blocking system has also been changed. Players current maximum hp will now greatly affect their ability to block attacks. A new stagger bar has been added to show how long players can continue to block.

The changes to food are detailed as well:
* Food rebalance (Most food items now give mainly stamina or mainly health to make food choices more interesting)
* Food GUI overhauled to work better with the rebalanced food
* Over 10 new things to eat (Actually 12)

Several new building options have also been added, including dark wood building pieces, new furniture, and stacks that allow players to show off their treasure and resources.

Elsewhere, Valorant has the most toxic community in all of gaming, according to a survey.
